Colleen Lucas, Ph.D.
Colleen holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has spent the last 15 years consulting in the areas of personal and organizational development. Colleen is skilled in the use of various assessments that assist clients in gaining insight into their personality, interests, and strengths. She enjoys helping people use this increased understanding to identify compatible career choices and develop plans to achieve their goals. Colleen also has extensive experience in facilitating group processes with a focus on improving team development and group functioning.
Colleen’s research interests include psychological contract violation in the workplace, organizational learning and change, and career and leadership development. She is currently involved in the research project “Making it Work! Managing Successful Maternity Leave Career Transitions”.
Colleen also offers personal counselling through our Synthesis Psychology practice (visit→). She is an EMDR therapist specializing in trauma, stress management, anxiety, depression, and increasing personal resilience.
